NORTHEAST KANSAS (KSNT) – K-Nation went out to get coverage of a lot of area teams this week.

The show starts with a breakdown of college basketball – some good, some bad.

No. 7 Kansas men’s basketball went 1-1 over the week while K-State men dropped two ranked road losses. Kansas women split two games and No. 4 K-State women finished 2-0 to stay undefeated in Big 12 play.

Kansas baseball is gearing up for year two under head coach Dan Fitzgerald. K-Nation’s Lainey Gerber gives an inside look at the nation’s top JUCO transfer class.

Redshirt freshman Zyanna Walker has been a ball of energy off the bench for K-State women’s basketball this season. K-Nation’s Landon Reinhardt sat down with Walker in a one-on-one interview to talk about her immediate success with the Wildcats.

Rock Chalk Sports Talk co-host Nick Springer made the trip to the K-Nation studio to talk about a week of Kansas men’s basketball. Springer talks about the three-point shooting of teams against the Jayhawks, the power of the new Big 12 and more.

The show also gives updates from both baseball preseasons, Sean Snyder, K-State rowing, Bill “Skinny” Johnson, Flory Bidunga and more.

K-Nation airs every Sunday night on KSNT after 27 News at 10. It’s a 30-minute weekly sports special revolving around K-State and KU sports. Click here for more K-Nation content.
