KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office is sharing new information about the investigation into the shooting that immediately followed the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade and rally on February 14.

Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker is holding a 2 p.m. news conference on Tuesday that you can watch live on FOX4 and stream on this page.

A total of 23 people were shot, nearly half were under the age of 16, and one woman, Lisa Lopez-Galvan, died from her injuries in the incident that happened on the west side of Union Station believed to be the result of a dispute.

Two minors were charged last Thursday in family court and are being held in juvenile detention on gun-related and resisting arrest charges. They haven’t been identified yet because they haven’t been certified to stand trial as adults, and they’re expected to face more charges.

Jose Castillo, 36, hasn’t been connected to the shooting, but is facing a charge for illegal possession of a firearm after police say he picked up a gun close to the shooting scene, he has a prior felony conviction. A friend told FOX4 last week that he was trying to help and should be hailed as a hero instead of facing a charge.

Over the weekend, Children’s Mercy said it released all patients it treated in the aftermath of the shooting. There’s been an outpouring of community support, with thousands donated to the #KCStrong Fund to help the victims.

Additionally, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes visited some of the kids who were recovering from the shooting, and Taylor Swift donated $100,000 to the GoFundMe set up for Lopez-Galvan’s family.

FOX4 will have frequent updates on this developing story on this page and during Tuesday evening newscasts beginning at 4 p.m.
