What We’re Tracking
Isolated showers later tonight
Cooler for the weekend
Slim chance for rain/snow late Sunday/early Monday
Cooler air still waiting to settle in with highs today in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Temperatures tonight drop down to around the freezing mark so it’s possible you could see some frost on the windshield tomorrow morning. Saturday will only be in the mid to upper 40s with a northerly breeze.
We’re eyeing another system for late weekend that may bring even chillier weather to the area. We’ll have more details as it gets a bit closer to us as the track of the system is still in question. Right now, the system passes by mostly to the south of us, but there’s a slight chance for some snowflakes late Sunday and early Monday. The best chance for snowfall, if any, will be over the southern half of the state, including areas along and south of I-35 in our viewing area.
After that system, we quickly clear and temperatures rebound into the 50s by the early to middle part of next week. It looks like most of next week should be dry, too.
