What We’re Tracking

Increasing clouds tonight

Few showers Easter Sunday morning

Showers and storms by early next week

Cloud cover increases throughout tonight as we stay mild with temperatures dropping down into the upper 40s and lower 50s. As warm front arrives, that stirs up a chance for a few showers on Easter Sunday. The timing looks to be in the morning hours and into the early afternoon.

The warm front settles in across the viewing area, dividing it almost in half. In our northern counties, temperatures will be in the 60s. It’ll be quite a bit warmer in our southern counties as highs climb to the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Slightly better rain chances may hold off until late Sunday and into Monday, and may increase through the first half of next week. There may be a couple isolated showers or storms later Sunday evening, but a better chance for storms arrives through the day Monday. Showers may linger through the morning on Tuesday before cooler air settle in.

That next push of chilly weather doesn’t stick around for too long, though. We should be back in the mid 60s by the middle of next week.
