FORT RILEY (KSNT) – One soldier was shot in his home early this week.
According to a social media post from the 1st Infantry Division, a 1st Infantry Division Soldier was shot in his Fort Riley home on Monday. Shortly after the incident, a subject was apprehended. Federal authorities are taking the lead and actively investigating this incident.
At this time, there is no threat to the greater Fort Riley community, according to the social media post. If you have information, send inquiries to the United States Attorney’s Office, District of Kansas.
