Former Chiefs All-Pro hosting autograph signing at casino

MAYETTA (KSNT) – A former Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro Running Back will be at a local casino to sign fans’ memorabilia.

Christian Okoye, Chiefs former All-Pro Running Back is hosting a public autograph signing at the Prairie Band Sportsbook, according to a news release from Prairie Band Casino and Resort. Nicknamed “the Nigerian Nightmare”, Okoye was known on the field for his powerful running style and ability to break free from tackles.

In his six seasons in the National Football League (NFL), he was named rushing champion in 1989, first-team All-Pro in 1989, and second-team All-Pro in 1991. He made two Pro Bowl appearances in 1989 and 1991 and three playoff appearances, according to the news release.

Okoye will be at the Prairie Band Sportsbook signing autographs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, April 17. According to the news release, you must be at least 21 years old to attend.
