23 January 2024
**DENSE FOG ADVISORY** – In effect until noon today for the entire area.
We’ll have mostly cloudy skies today, but after this morning’s rain, freezing rain and fog, much of the day will be dry. Highs this afternoon should make it into the middle to upper 30s with a relatively light breeze in place. Yet another chance for rain moves in tonight and into Wednesday morning, but this one appears to be mostly an all-liquid rain as temperatures dip into the 33-34° range overnight.
Rain clears out again Wednesday morning with patchy fog again possible and cloudy skies expected for the afternoon. Highs are expected to be in the upper 30s, close to 40°, with overnight lows in the lower 30s. Temperatures won’t climb much higher toward next weekend, but conditions should dry out by then apart from another slight chance for rain and/or snow for Saturday morning.
Looking further ahead into next week, there’s indications that we’re looking at a warmer and drier weather pattern setting up. Already by Monday, we could see high temperatures in the lower 50s. If we’re lucky, we could be looking at temperatures approaching 60° for the last few days of January!
