(WJW) — The rumors are true. Dairy Queen’s once very popular Cherry Dipped Cones are coming back.
It was less than a year ago that Dairy Queen fans were left brokenhearted when DQ discontinued its cherry cone dip. At the time, the news first broke on the TikTok account of a Dairy Queen manager in Michigan. The page, which now has more than 2 million followers, also revealed the cherry dip’s triumphant return.
“Due to popular demand, cherry is coming back,” said the video that has now been viewed more than 100,000 times.
A Dairy Queen spokesperson confirmed the inside scoop with FOX 8 and said, “We know our fans love the Cherry Dipped Cone, and we’re excited to bring this sweet offering back for a limited time at participating locations.”
Dairy Queen didn’t specify when the Cherry Dipped Cones would once again be available and didn’t immediately respond to a request for more detail.
