Enjoy quiet and mild conditions before weekend changes

13 February 2024

We have another nice day ahead. After a freezing start this morning, sunshine will help send us back up into the 50s and 60s.

Wednesday will be just as nice with a stronger breeze. Anyone headed up to Kansas City for the Champions Parade can expect dry and mild conditions.

With disturbances primarily across the northern half of the country, this is the path that moisture will take over the next few days.

A cold front starts to dip into the Sunflower State Thursday. The impact on many of our temperatures will be minimal at first but you will definitely feel the colder change by the end of the week.

As colder air sinks south into the area there will be an opportunity for some moisture Friday. So far, rain and a rain/snow mix are not lining up that well but this is still worth keeping an eye on.

Any moisture will move out by Saturday but the winter chill will stick around. We bounce back pretty quickly though and take a milder turn by the end of the weekend and into the start of next week.
