Enjoy more warmth before rain moves in

1 February 2024

We have another nice day ahead that will include a mix of sunshine and clouds. Some early cloud cover could squeeze out a few raindrops.

This small chance for a sprinkle during the day, especially in Central Kansas, is not looking significant.

Temperatures are not too bad this morning and then a southerly breeze will send us into the 60s and 70s.

High temperatures begin to experience a decline tomorrow but will still be above average for this time of year. The upcoming cooldown does not look all that bad as temperatures only dip into the 40s and 50s this weekend and into next week.

Clouds will be on the increase again tonight. This will lead to a better chance for rain as we wrap up the work and school week. First to the southwest early in the day tomorrow.

More showers will spread into the area through Friday night and Saturday. Do not be surprised if you hear a rumble of thunder. Severe weather is not expected though.

A chance for rain holds on Sunday but we will dry out by early next week.

Temperatures gradually warm back up with a breeze. There may be another weather maker on the horizon by late next week.
