El Dorado woman accused of child exploitation

27 February 2024

EL DORADO, Kan. (KSNW) – The El Dorado Police Department says an online tip led to the arrest of a woman on multiple charges.

The department says they began investigating, along with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in Wichita, after a tip alleging the sexual exploitation of children through the use of electronic devices was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The woman was later arrested on charges of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, sexual exploitation of a child, and aggravated internet trading in child pornography.

The woman is expected to make her first appearance in court on Wednesday. It is KSN News policy not to identify a suspect unless they have been formally charged with a crime.

El Dorado police say anyone who has information about crimes against children can visit the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children online to submit a tip or by calling 1-800-843-5678. You can also submit anonymous crime tips to El Dorado Crime Stoppers through the P3 website or app or by calling 316-321-1080.
