29 January 2024
We wrapped up the weekend on a gorgeous note and we have more nice conditions on the way. Temperatures this morning will not be too chilly. We will reach the 50s as early as the lunch hour and then many highs rise to the 60s later this afternoon.
High pressure has been gradually building into the region. This will keep skies sunny to start the new week. A few clouds will attempt to move in later today but it will not be nearly as cloudy as last week.
Fair skies continue tomorrow with more highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Temperatures remain above average as we transition from January to February. However, the pleasant temperatures will not last forever. A cold front later this week will bring cooler temperatures just in time for the weekend.
At least the cooler temperatures will still be close to normal. Chances for moisture will start to go up later this week too. Precipitation will mainly be in the form of rain but there could still be some snow that mixes in at times in Western Kansas.
It is looking like clouds and rain will move out by early next week with temperatures staying near average.
