DODGE CITY, Kan. (KSNW) — The Dodge City Police Department has released new details in the Cody Ceniceros case.

The 17-year-old disappeared on Nov. 24 from his home in Dodge City. His body was found on Dec. 19 inside his crashed 1999 Chevy Tracker in a farm field near Lariat Way and 117 Road southeast of Dodge City.

The DCPD says they met with the Ceniceros family and the county coroner on Wednesday to discuss the final autopsy report. Police say Ceniceros died due to injuries in a crash and was not wearing a seatbelt.
