TOPEKA (KSNT) – A major grocery store chain is offering a special discount for one day to older adults this month to save some money.
Dillons is offering a one-day discount to older adults who are 55-years-old or older on Wednesday, April 10 when visiting any one of its stores nationwide. The 5% discount doesn’t require a coupon to use; just talk to your cashier when you’re checking out.
“At Dillons, we are committed to providing fresh, affordable food and are always looking for ways to help our customers to stretch their budgets,” said Sheila Regehr, corporate affairs manager for Dillons. “Whether it’s added fuel points on Fridays, savings with a digital coupon, or scoring a great markdown price, everyone loves a great deal. That’s why we’re excited to extend this one-day Senior Day discount once again on Wednesday, April 10.”
Regehr says the discount is meant to helps older adults save cash on pantry staples, fresh produce and other household goods. Exclusions do apply to this discount for alcohol, tobacco products, fuel, money orders, taxes, postage stamps, gift cards/certificates, lottery, promotional tickets, CRV, prescriptions and guest or customer service/fees.
