Report: Kansas one of least ‘tax-friendly’ states in America

ELKHART (KSNT) – A 64-year-old from Iowa died and three others had suspected injuries after a head-on crash in Morton County.
At 1:15 p.m. on Monday, a 35-year-old woman from Elkhart was driving a Ford F150 east on U56. A 32-year-old woman from Milwaukee, WI, was driving a GMC Terrain westbound on U56. The 35-year-old hit a patch of ice, left the center of the road and hit the GMC Terrain head-on, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) crash log.
A 64-year-old occupant of the GMC Terrain died at the scene. Two other occupants of the GMC were taken to an area hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries. The driver of the Ford F150 was also taken to an area hospital with suspected serious injuries, according to the KHP crash log.
The 64-year-old woman was the only person involved in the crash who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the time, according to the KHP.
