MANHATTAN (KSNT) – Law enforcement agencies are entering into emergency accident reporting phases due to slick and icy roads.

While in the Emergency Accident Reporting Phase (EARP), crashes that don’t meet certain criteria don’t need to be reported. Law enforcement will only respond to injury accidents.

The Riley County Police Department and the Geary County Sheriff’s Office announced they would enter EARP.
