What We’re Tracking
Clear and breezy tonight
Warming back up later in the week
Storm chances return late Saturday
The sky remains clear tonight with temperatures dropping down into the lower to middle 30s. After being rather breezy today, those conditions continue into tonight. We’ll see winds out of the northwest from 10-15 mph and gusting to about 30 mph.
Warmer air moves back in for the latter part of the week. Temperatures climb back up into the lower to middle 70s by the start of the weekend. And with high pressure briefly building in, that will keep us dry through the rest of the work week.
Our next system moves in for the tail end of the weekend with showers and storms possible late Saturday and into early Sunday. Hopefully, this system moves out for Monday’s solar eclipse, but as of right now, we may end up with some cloud cover across Northeast Kansas before yet another system moves in by Tuesday.
