Wichita ranks among the top in Forbes Home’s ‘The Best Cities To Move To In 2024’

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — At the Wichita City Council meeting on Tuesday, the Council voted 7-0 to approve the 2024 Water Conservation Rebate Program.
Residents can get a water bill rebate for making changes to reduce their water usage.
Rebates cover:
Up to $50 for dual flush toilet conversion kits
Up to $100 for hose faucet irrigation controllers
$75 for a rain barrel
Up to $100 for rain sensor-shutoffs
Up to $100 for smart irrigation controllers
$35 for a toilet repair kit
Residents can no longer get a rebate for installing new toilets, dishwashers or shower heads.
According to the City of Wichita website, as of April 2, $75,000 remains in the rebate program funding.
