Chiefs extend Special Teams Coordinator Toub

16 February 2024

KANSAS CITY, MO (KSNT) – Just days after winning back-to-back Super Bowls, the Kansas City Chiefs announced they are extending Special Teams Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach Dave Toub.

The deal will extend Toub three more years with the Chiefs, who was on an expiring contract, according to ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter. Toub first came to Kansas City with Head Coach Andy Reid back in 2013 and has served in his current role since 2018.

The team has now made two coaching extensions following the big game. Defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo signed an extension to remain in Kansas City earlier this week.
