CareArc Eureka Health Center closing in February

25 January 2024

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — CareArc announced Wednesday that the Eureka Health Center will close on Feb. 29.

The health center is located at 1602 N. Elm St. in Eureka. CareArc said the decision to close is driven by “financial challenges” caused by decreasing population trends in the area.

“We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity we’ve had to serve the Eureka community. Our patients’ well-being has always been our top priority, and it has been our honor to provide quality care to this wonderful community,” Renee Hively, CEO of CareArc, said.

CareArc said it remains committed to ensuring that patients receive uninterrupted care and will assist them in transferring their medical records to new providers or continuing their care at CareArc’s Emporia location.

The Eureka Health Center was established in 2014 through a grant, and offered medical, dental and behavioral health services.

“While we are saddened to close our Eureka location, we remain steadfast in our commitment to this mission and to serving the healthcare needs of our patients,” Hively said in the release.
