PARK CITY, Kan. (KSNW) — A minor was hit in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant in Park City Sunday morning.

Pedestrian injured after being hit by car Saturday morning

According to Sedgwick County dispatch, they received a call at 11:21 a.m. about a crash involving a car and a pedestrian in the 5900 block of N. Air Cap Dr.

According to Park City Police Department Corporal Cole Haas, a car was reversing out of their parking spot when they hit the minor.

“If you’re backing out of a parking spot, I understand that speeds are slow through parking spots. Just make sure you look where you’re going, use your mirrors, and take your time. There’s no rush to get anywhere, so just make sure you’re using all the available resources inside your car to make sure you’re traveling safely,” said Haas.

The minor received little to no injuries.
