A cold front moved through last night, and we still have some lingering showers around this morning. Pairing that with our gusty northwesterly winds, it’ll be feeling pretty chilly today. Rain does look to taper off by lunch, at the latest, and skies clear shortly after.
Cooler high temperatures in the 50s with gusty winds is expected for today and lasting through at least Wednesday. After this, warm air moves back in for the latter part of the week. Temperatures climb back up into the lower to middle 70s by next weekend.
Another system moves in for the tail end of the weekend with showers and storms possible late Saturday and into early Sunday. Hopefully, this system moves out for Monday’s solar eclipse, but as of right now, we may end up with some cloud cover across Northeast Kansas.
