Boy trapped in a grain bin in Clinton; officials sawing off the top

CLINTON, Mo. — Emergency responders are working to rescue a boy trapped inside a grain bin in Clinton, Missouri Monday morning.

Clinton officers and first responders reported to Hankins Grain Company off of N. 2nd Street about someone stuck inside a grain bin.

Once authorities assessed the situation they began sawing off the the top of the grain bin, according to police.

This is an evolving story. The latest report from officials is that it is a boy, possibly a teen, trapped halfway into the grain. They added he’s still “awake and oriented.”
