What We’re Tracking
Isolated showers tonight
Warm and breezy for Thursday
Chance for snow on Sunday
Southerly wind gusts will be around 30mph through the day today, but may pick up even further overnight with gusts around 40-45mph. This will keep temperatures very mild through the next couple of days with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s for today and lower to middle 60s for Thursday.
Our next system looks to start bringing in a cold front through by late Thursday, eventually pushing all the way through by Friday. This will shift our winds to the north and east, and bring a slim chance for a couple isolated showers, mainly later this evening and again Friday evening. Behind the front, temperatures will cool back into the 50s for highs for the end of the week and 40s to start the weekend.
We’re eyeing a system for late weekend that may bring even chillier weather to the area. We’ll have more details as it gets a bit closer to us. Right now, there’s a slight chance for some snow Sunday. The best chance for any impactful snowfall will be over the southern half of the state, including areas along and south of I-70 in our viewing area. After that system, we quickly clear and temperatures rebound into the 50s by the early to middle part of next week.
