Amber Alert issued, child taken from Seward County hospital

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Bureau of Investigations has issued an Amber Alert for a child who was last seen at the Seward County Hospital in Liberal on Wednesday.

Luna Amaro stands 2 feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 1 year and 10 months old.

The Texas County Sheriff’s Office in Oklahoma said Amaro was last seen wearing a blue and striped shirt, princess pineapple shoes with a backpack.

Amaro was taken from the Liberal Seward County hospital at 7:10 p.m. on March 20. The suspect, Luis, left in a vehicle in an unknown direction but is still believed to be in Liberal with Luna.

Luis’ only description is a male with long hair.
