(NBC) — Two winners are coming up Monday on “AGT: Fantasy League,” one of 10 finalists will claim the $250,000 prize, and the judge who had that winning act on his or her team will collect bragging rights.
“It really feels like it’s anyone’s game right now,” said contortionist and aerialist Sofie Dossi after her “Fantasy League” finale performance last week.
The Ramadhani brothers had everyone on edge with their balancing act.
“We trust each other,” said Fadhili Ramadhani. “Without trust, you can’t.”
Aerialist Aidan Bryant is putting his trust in the audience after his act, as is dancer Musa Motha, the amputee confident about his finale performance.
“You have to step up your game, make sure you’re doing your best and having fun,” said Motha.
Having fun was no problem for choir Sainted and their mentor Simon.
“To be on his team, I’m telling you, it was like, validation,” said Dennis Reed Jr. of Sainted. “It was like we had been seen!”
Seen and heard by millions, including the finale’s theatre audience, was singer-songwriter and pianist Kodi Lee.
“I love chanting my name, Kodi, Kodi, Kodi,” said Lee.
Hand shadow artist Shadow Ace has felt the love throughout the competition.
“I think I have the confidence now and also the support of my family in the Philippines,” said Shadow Ace, whose real name is Philip Jose Galit.
Mumbai-based acrobat dance group V. Unbeatable is also among the five international finalists.
“It looks, like, so easy, but trust me, is very hard,” said a member of V. Unbeatable.
Driving home that degree of difficulty was vital for roller skating duo Billy and Emily England.
And musical performance group, The Pack Drumline, is ready for any result on Monday.
“We met so many great people, made so many connections, and we’re all really a family here,” said a member of The Pack Drumline.
And soon, they will celebrate someone’s victory.
