(NBC) — A quarter of a million dollars on the line Monday that’s the prize money for “America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League.”
But there’s even more at stake as the acts perform in the two-part finale, which begins at 8 p.m. on NBC.
Winning “AGT: Fantasy League” is not just a big deal for the finalists.
“You’ve got 10 great acts in the final and they’re all brilliant,” said judge Mel B.
But with each act tied to a judge’s team, the judges have something at stake too.
“We have eternal bragging rights if we win,” said judge Howie Mandel. “We were told that.”
Shadow Ace is one of three finalists on Mandel’s team. He also has singer Kodi Lee and the head balancing duo Ramadhani Brothers.
“This finale performance, it’s a danger, to be honest,” said Fadhili Ramadhani.
Danger is not an issue for the choral group Sainted, they join Pack Drumline on Simon Cowell’s team and dancer Musa Motha an amputee.
“I have an attachment to these contestants because I’ve really worked with them hard to get where we’ve got,” said Cowell.
Heidi Klum’s team is represented by daredevils V. Unbeatable and contortionist archer Sofie Dossi.
“I am confident, but it also is a very new trick that I’ve literally just learned,” said Dossi.
British roller-skating duo Billy and Emily are fired up as well as Mel B.’s other performer, aerialist Aidan Bryant.
“Some advice that she told me was to be spicy on stage and show yourself,” said Bryant. “You really have to show your talent and where you’re coming from.”
Terry Crews already has an idea of what’s coming from the triumphant coach.
“It’s going to be bragging forever,” said Crews. “We’ll never hear the end.”
Watch “AGT: Fantasy League” on Monday at 7 p.m. CT, followed by a new episode of “The Irrational.”
The winner of “Fantasy League” will be revealed next week.
