Nickerson and Pretty Prairie voters approve school bonds

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Unofficial results show that Pretty Prairie and Nickerson voters have approved school bonds.

Nickerson voters approved a nine-year $7.6 million bond.

Pretty Prairie voters approved a 20-year $7.7 million bond.

USD 311 Special Question

Yes: 272

No: 222

Both districts plan to make security improvements to their school buildings. Nickerson also plans to renovate restrooms to meet ADA compliance and complete auditorium and stage renovations at Nickerson High School, while Pretty Prairie plans repairs to several school buildings that include windows, roofing, gas lines and electrical work.
