Police release name of Salina homicide victim

SALINA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Salina Police Department says the person who was shot and killed at a home on South 10th Street Sunday was 35-year-old Cory Dale Riley of Salina.

The home is in the 200 block of S. 10th. According to a news release, police responded to a shooting call and found the victim. He was taken to Salina Regional Health Center for surgery but later died.


Two people hurt after vehicle chase in west Wichita

Police arrested a 30-year-old woman and booked her on suspicion of:

First-degree murder

Felon in possession of a firearm

Unlawful discharge of a firearm

Possession of a firearm by an addicted person

Possession of meth

Possession of marijuana

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Police have sent a probable cause affidavit to the Saline County Attorney’s Office. If the suspect is charged, KSN News will release her name.
