TOPEKA (KSNT) – The City of Topeka announced will be conducting five different controlled burns around the City starting at 8:45 a.m Wednesday.
Controlled burns reduce vegetation build up and enhance habitat for wildlife and pollinatiors, according to the City of Topeka.
The burns will be conducted at:
400 NW MacVicar Ave.
500-700 blocks of SW Jackson St.
2416 SW Fillmore St.
2510 SW Central Park Ave.
1115 NE Poplar St.
