Wind knocks out power in Wellington

WELLINGTON, Kan. (KSNW) — High winds have knocked out power in Wellington.

Electricity was knocked off around 12:45 pm., according to city officials. They believe a line was knocked down by the wind leading to the city-wide outage.

The city says crews are working on the problem. However, they do not have a timeline for when power will be restored.
