What We’re Tracking
Decreasing clouds
Quiet pattern, but windy days ahead
Very warm weekend
Tonight, we can’t rule out a spotty shower or two in the southeastern corner of the area. Cloud cover gradually decreases, but winds start to pick up. Temperatures drop down into the middle 40s.
Sunshine returns Thursday, but it’ll be a windy day. We could see wind gusts as high as 40 mph out of the north and west, and despite the sun, that will keep us in the middle 60s at most tomorrow.
Rain chances stay rather limited through the work week and weekend. Temperatures stay mild in the upper 60s and lower 70s through Friday, but we’ll likely see some very warm temperatures by the time the weekend rolls around. We can expect gusty winds out of the south, sunshine and temperatures climbing up towards 90°!
Our next best chance for rain looks to arrive Monday afternoon and evening with showers lingering into early Tuesday. This will also help to cool temperatures back down into the 70s by the time we get to Tuesday.
