School of missing Kansas woman operating in locked down status Tuesday

PRATT, Kan. (KSNW) — A stabbing Tuesday morning led to a chase in Pratt.
The Pratt Police Department says officers were called shortly before 6:30 a.m. to a motel near Highway 54 and the Highway 61 junction on the report of a stabbing. When they arrived, the suspect was driving away.
Police say a short chase that also involved Pratt County deputies ended when they were able to disable the suspect’s car. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the jail.
The victim was treated at Pratt Regional Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. No one else was hurt.
Formal charges against the suspect are pending.
