Cooler first half of the week, rainy and windy Sunday

What We’re Tracking

Cooler through the first half of the weekend

Rainy and windy Sunday

Cooler next week

Tonight, temperatures drop down to upper 20s and lower 30s. Cloud cover will try to stick around and we’ll maintain a wind from the northeast from 10-15mph. The next best chance for rain looks to arrive over the weekend. We may see a few rain or snow showers on Saturday north of I-70, but a bit better chance for rain and even a few storms moves in for Sunday into Sunday night.

Highs for Saturday may be a bit chilly in the upper 40s to low 50s, but a strong south wind is expected Sunday helping to warm us into the middle 60s despite the rain. We could see wind gusts as high as 50mph.

We’ll keep a close eye on this system as temperatures may turn chilly as it passes through during the day on Monday. Rain is still likely for Monday, but if temperatures get cool enough later Monday evening, it’s not out of the question that we could see some snow trying to move in to our western counties so keep checking back for updates as we get closer.

Highs get a bit cooler in the upper 40s to low 50s for Monday and Tuesday with lows in the upper 20s. However, we do appear to rebound back into the upper 50s by Wednesday ahead of our next potential rain chance for the middle of next week.
