MANHATTAN (KSNT) – A second K-State men’s basketball player in as many days is expected to hit the transfer portal.
Dorian Finister will elect to find a new home, according to 247 Sports.
Finister appeared in 19 of K-State’s 34 games in the 2023-24 season, averaging 2.8 points and 2.3 rebounds on nights when he touched the court. The 6-foot-4 sophomore guard leaves the program after two seasons. He played in six games as a true freshman, but was rewarded a redshirt.
Finister is the second ‘Cat to reportedly enter the portal since the end of the 2023-24 season. Junior guard Cam Carter announced plans to transfer on Thursday.
K-State finished the season 19-15 and has one commit signed for the class of 2024 in Oklahoma native David Castillo.
