Traffic on I-135 north of Wichita to be reduced

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Traffic on northbound Interstate 135 at 85th Street North will be reduced to one lane for bridge construction.

During construction, the Kansas Department of Transportation will be closing the entrance ramp to northbound I-135 at 85th Street North.

During the construction, traffic on northbound I-135 between 61st Street and the Sedgwick County Line will be restricted to the left lane, KDOT says, and speeds will be reduced to 60 mph. Motorists should be prepared for decreased speeds.
