Topeka bars and restaurants prepare for March Madness

TOPEKA (KSNT) – With the March Madness tournament less than a week away, local bars are getting prepared.

While these places expect to have more customer traffic than usual, some involved with the local bar industry are excited for people to experience what they have to offer.

“We have 25 TV’s for you to come in and watch the games,” said Yolonda Uhl with The Pennant. “We have wings, beer boots and amazing margaritas.”

“We’re a brewery, so we’ve got beers, happy hours, specials like that,” said Lindsey Skinner from Iron Rail Brewing said. “We are going to be focusing on new cocktails we’ve got rolling out today actually.”


Topeka restaurants mark St. Patrick’s Day with food, drink specials

The First-Four round of the March Madness tournament begins next Tuesday, on March 19 with the round of 64 getting underway on Thursday, March 21.
