High pressure is building in from the north. This feature will help steer rain around us to the south though Saturday night.
Most of Kansas should see a clear sky overnight except farther west and south near the state lines due to a system festering to the southwest of Kansas.
A sprinkle or a shower has a higher chance of survival in Southwest Kansas tonight, Saturday and Saturday night. Some of this moisture tries to move closer to Wichita but drier air will eat anything up.
Temperatures this weekend will be warmest on Saturday with most in the 60s. A cold front sags south Sunday into Monday dipping temperatures slightly.
Monday will be the coolest before another springy surge Tuesday that will be well into the 60s and 70s.
Unsettled conditions are expected Wednesday into Thursday. A few showers and thunderstorms will dot the sky as this moves through the area.
More wet weather could align for the following weekend with cooling temperatures.
