Cashews sold by Walmart are recalled due to undeclared allergens

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Best Buy is recalling some air fryers and air fryer ovens due to the risk of fires, burns and cuts.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall involves Insignia products sold from November 2021 through November 2023. The air fryers and air fryer ovens were sold at Best Buy stores and online at BestBuy.com, eBay.com, and third-party sellers.
The recall announcement says the air fryers can overheat, causing the handles to melt or break, posing fire and burn hazards. Also, the air fryer ovens can overheat, and the door glass can shatter, posing fire, burn and laceration hazards.
The CPSC says Best Buy has received 24 reports of overheating, melting or glass shattering, including six reports of air fryers catching on fire. There are no reports of any injuries.

The name Insignia is on the top of the product. A product rating label on the bottom of the unit also has the Insignia name and the model number. The cooking appliances range from 3.4 to 10 quarts and have plastic or plastic and stainless-steel bodies.

If you have one of the recalled products, the CPSC says you should stop using it immediately. Do not take the items to Best Buy stores. Instead, visit the recall website. It has specific details about how to apply for a refund, including how to submit photos. If you need assistance, call 800-566-7498 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Central Time.
You can receive a refund in the form of a refund check or a Best Buy store credit. If you no longer have your receipt, you will receive the average sale price for the model.
