GARDEN CITY, Kan. (KSNW) — Officials are asking for people to be on the lookout for a missing 64-year-old Garden City man.
At the request of the Garden City Police Department, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation has issued a statewide Silver Alert for Thanh Du.
His family last saw him around 2 p.m. Thursday at his home near Kansas Avenue and N. 12th Street.
When the family returned later, he was gone. He left his phone and wallet at home.
Thanh Du is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He was last known to be wearing a tan T-shirt with “Western Moto” on the front, navy sweatpants, and no shoes.
Police say he has dementia and a heart condition. He mostly speaks Vietnamese but knows a little English.
Thanh Du is believed to be driving a 2021 white Toyota Rav4 with Kansas license plate 930 PBK.
