Doughnut mix sold in Kansas recalled for risk of allergic reaction

TOPEKA (KSNT) – On Thursday, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) announced a company recall for doughnut mix that may contain an undeclared allergen.

Gluten Free Cinnamon Sugar Doughnut Mix sold by Stonewall Kitchen of York, Maine is being recalled after the company received a consumer report of a reaction. An investigation found there was wheat in the packaging, according to the FDA.

People who have an allergy or areas sensitive to wheat/gluten risk serious allergic reactions if the product is consumed, according to the FDA.
