LAWRENCE (KSNT) – KU softball is red-hot just before conference play begins.

The Jayhawks played their first 18 games away from home, but finally took the field in Arrocha Ballpark on Tuesday and continued their dominance.

KU extended its winning streak to 10 on Tuesday, beating Creighton 8-0 in the home opener.

Topeka native Kasey Hamilton has now thrown a complete game shutout in each of her last four starts.

Kansas is now 13-5-1 on the year. The Big 12 opener is up next, at UCF on March 8.
