Which NE Kansas high school basketball teams are state bound?

TOPEKA (KSNT) – The state tournament is just around the corner for Kansas high school basketball.

On Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2, several teams in Northeast Kansas punched tickets to state.

On Friday:

Highland Park boys’ cliched a spot at 5A state, beating Bonner Springs, 80-48

Shawnee Heights boys’ clinched a spot at 5A state, beating St. Thomas Aquinas, 64-62 in overtime

Manhattan girls’ clinched a spot at 6A state, beating Liberal, 45-39

Washburn Rural girls’ clinched a spot at 6A state, beating Wichita South, 47-34
