Few showers tonight, warm and windy through the weekend

What We’re Tracking

Few showers tonight

Warm, windy conditions continue through the weekend

A little cooler for next week

**RED FLAG WARNING** – In effect for the entire area today until 8:00pm.

We hold on to a slight chance for a few showers tonight around the midnight hour. We’ll continue to be breezy with winds out of the southwest from 15-20 mph. Temperatures dip down to the lower to middle 30s. High fire danger persists through the rest of this week and into the weekend with our windy, dry, and warm conditions.

By the weekend, highs will be back up in the middle to upper 70s, and we may even have a chance for thunderstorms by late Sunday evening! That slight chance for storms late Sunday and early Monday comes with another cold front, though. That does look to cool us back down for the first part of next week. Highs for Monday look to dip into the middle 50s before rebounding into the lower 60s Tuesday.

Looking ahead a bit, our weather pattern starts to get a bit more active by the middle of next week. So, while most of February has been very dry, we may have more opportunities for precipitation for the beginning of March.
