WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Evergy said on Facebook Tuesday that scammers are texting customers.
The Facebook post says the scammers are requesting customers submit their IRS tax returns through a link to pay their bills.
If you are unsure about a website, phone number, email, program or person claiming to be affiliated with Every, you can call the customer care team at 1-888-471-5275.
Evergy says not to share your account information with anyone unless you are sure it is Evergy.
