Man who stole car with 6-year-old inside sentenced to prison

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A man convicted in the drunk driving crash that killed his 9-year-old son has been sentenced.
Twenty-nine-year-old Devin Saucedo pleaded guilty in November to involuntary manslaughter while driving under the influence. The crash happened in March 2022.
Law enforcement were called to the 1100 block of W. Kellogg shortly after 10 p.m. for a three-vehicle accident. Nine-year-old Armani Saucedo was a passenger in his father’s car and died at the scene from his injuries.
Saucedo was arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter and driving while his license was suspended or canceled in August 2022. Saucedo has been sentenced to 24 months in prison.
He has also been ordered to pay restitution of $9,679.86.
