Four stabbed at American Legion in Concordia, suspect arrested

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Concordia Police Department said four people were stabbed outside the American Legion on Saturday.

A news release from the Concordia Police Department said on Feb. 3 at 1:57 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of Washington St. It started inside the American Legion and escalated. Officers arrived and found four people had been stabbed during a confrontation on the sidewalk.

Concordia EMS immediately began medical assistance to the victims.

A Concordia man was arrested on-site and taken into custody. He was booked on suspicion of three counts of attempted second-degree murder, one count of aggravated battery, and one count of battery.

KSN does not identify suspects until they are formally charged with a crime.
