What We’re Tracking
Mild and windy weather midweek
Warmer, isolated showers possible by Thursday
Cooling back for the weekend
Winds remain relatively light until late tonight and early tomorrow morning, then they start to pick up significantly out of the south. With more wind and more cloud cover, temperatures will only fall into the lower 40s overnight.
Wind gusts will be around 30mph through the day tomorrow, but may pick up further overnight Wednesday with gusts around 40mph. That will keep temperatures very mild through midweek with highs Wednesday in the lower to middle 60s for Thursday. This next system looks to bring a cold front through by Thursday afternoon, shifting our winds to the north and west, and bringing a slim chance for a couple isolated showers, mainly early Thursday ahead of the front. Behind the front, temperatures will cool back into the 50s for highs for the end of the week and start of the weekend.
We’re eyeing a system for late next weekend that may bring even chillier weather to the area. We’ll have more details as it gets a bit closer to us. Right now, there’s a slight chance for some cold rain, possibly mixing with snow Sunday. The better chance for any showers will likely be to our south and southwest. Highs look may struggle to reach the lower 40s for Sunday, which is a lot closer to our average highs for this time of the year.
