WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — El Rio Bravo is baking Chiefs cakes ahead of The Big Game.
One week from Monday, the world will know if the Chiefs are able to maintain their title as Super Bowl champions.
The Chiefs Kingdom continues to show its pride.
In Wichita, El Rio Supermarket is rolling out cakes inspired by the Chiefs.
One cake is red and gold and says “Chiefs Kingdom.” Another is the shape of a football.
The store’s manager says they do up to 15 cakes a day but expect to do as many as 50 as they get closer to the game.
“We are like Kanss supporters, and we love Kansas. And we want to support the community and give back a little bit of what we receive from them,” said El Rio Bravo Manager Denise Diaz.
To fill all the orders, El Rio Bravo staff starts baking the cakes first thing in the morning.
