‘We’ll make you feel like family’: Topeka food truck owners set to open new BBQ restaurant

TOPEKA (KSNT) – With temperatures warming up in the area this week, some local golfers hit the links to get in a few rounds.
Frigid temperatures, like the ones Topeka has experienced recently, can have a severe impact on a course’s playing surface.
During this time of the year, golf courses often have certain rules in place to prevent any damage to the grass. These rules include driving your cart on the path only and not playing your ball out of wet areas.
“The grass is still dormant for the most part right now,” lead Golf Professional at Forbes Golf Course Tim Warren said. “We want that grass to be able to thrive through these winter months.”
